Program Schedule:
Welcome & Introduction (30 minutes)
Warm Moroccan mint tea & pastries upon arrival.
Brief introduction to Moroccan cuisine, its flavors, and cultural significance.
Explanation of spices, herbs, and traditional cooking techniques.
Market Visit (Optional – 1 hour)
Guided visit to a local souk (market) to handpick fresh ingredients.
Learn how to select the best spices, vegetables, and meats.
Hands-On Cooking Workshop (2-3 hours)
Guided step-by-step cooking experience with a professional chef.
Dishes Prepared:
Starter: Moroccan salads (Zaalouk, Taktouka, Carrot Charmoula).
Main Course: Chicken/Lamb Tagine with preserved lemon & olives, or Vegetable Couscous.
Dessert: Almond Briouates or Orange & Cinnamon salad.
Traditional cooking techniques, spice blending, and plating tips.
Dining Experience (1 hour)
Enjoy the meal you prepared in a traditional Moroccan setting.
